Johnburgh Residents

Johnburgh 1876-1901 (Often called Johnsburgh) This is a list of Johnburgh residents for the first 25 years, giving name, occupation, first and last date of being listed. Most of them have been taken from SA Almanacs, Directories and Newspapers. Unfortunately, not all residents made it into these publications for different reasons. By 1890 the cost of a listing was 5 shillings. Maybe this was too expensive for some. Other reasons could have been, incorrect spelling of name or initials, may have forgotten to renew their listing, missed the deadline or just did not bother.
