There were 3 deaths recorded between 1878 and 1886. They were; Charles Ambery who died at Beltana Station on 23 September 1878, aged 36 who was a labourer of Myrtle Springs. John McQuade died at Myrtle Springs on 12 February 1880 and Elizabeth Cox died on 10 November 1886, aged 20. She was the wife of Daniel James Cox of Myrtle Springs.
